The Clubs here are more like the Lotus Club of Canada's sisters than mere organizations with a common interest in Lotus sports cars.

Some of our members belong to all three Clubs. When possible we attend each other's events.

We shared a website with the ECLC and the Lotus Car Club of B.C. for many years.

It's a small world, the Lotus world.

ECLC...Eastern Canada Lotus Club

The largest overlap of our members is with the ECLC. Their President, Harald Freise, set up our club's first website. Their regulars attend our events such as the VARAC Lapping Day at Mosport. we are welcome at their events.  Although a small Club - about 50 members - they hosted the biggest Lotus meet ever held in Canada, Lotus Ltd.'s annual LOG, back in the nineties.  calendar of events and other news that could be of interest to fans of Lotus Cars. ECLC members have a vast experience with Lotus cars and are often willing to share their maintenance, repair, parts sources, experience and opinions with anyone who cares enough to listen. And just as the Lotus Club of Canada, despite the lofty name, draws its members mostly from Toronto and southern Ontario, so the ECLC is more accurately described as serving eastern Ontario and the bordering areas of Quebec.

Their website can be found at www.lotuscarclub.ca

Lotus. Ltd.

We may have as many members who belong to Lotus Ltd. as to the ECLC.

This is not surprising.  Lotus Ltd. is the largest Lotus Club in North America, their annual meet, LOG, the continent's biggest Lotus gathering of the year, attracting hundreds of cars and speakers from around the world. It has been held in many places, from Ottawa to Dallas, Aspen to Indianapolis.  An unofficial Canadian troup, made up of members from our Club and the ECLC attends every year. Due to it's size and influence Lotus Ltd. enjoys a close relationship with Lotus Cars in Hethel, Classic Team Lotus in Hethel (CTL prepares and races several Formula 1 cars in European historic events) and Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Birmingham, where the largest collection of Lotus race cars in the world is on display.

Due to the geography of size, Lotus Ltd. is broken down into local chapters, the closest to us being LOONY, the Lotus Owners of New York.

The Lotus Ltd. website is www.lotuscarclub.org

The LOONY website is at www.lotusowners.com
